E - Series
The E - Series is Glass Flooring Systems own proprietary tested anti-slip textures. Our NanoDot® and Seeded Organic® surface textures are both suitable for wet and dry conditions and provide a clear view.
T - Transparent

CERTIFICATION
and Safety Standards
At Glass Flooring Systems, we adhere to the ANSI A326.3 American National Standard Test Method for Measuring the Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF) of Hard Surface Flooring Materials testing protocol. A BOT-3000E tribometer is used to obtain the DCOF of all our anti-slip textures. The ANSI A326.3 standard for measuring the Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF) is the accepted standard for measuring floor traction in the United States. In addition, the ANSI A326.3 provides clarification of appropriate use of flooring surfaces in wet or dry conditions.
The United States has transitioned from the SCOF method to the globally recognized DCOF method. There is no longer a standard for measuring the Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF), rendering the ASTM C 1028 – SCOF standard unrecognized. Additionally, other European slip-resistant tests are no longer recognized or accepted in the U.S. as a National Standard for DCOF, such as:
UNE ENV 12633 (Pendulum), Classes 1, 2, and 3 (Rd>45)
DIN 51130 (Ramp), Classes R9 to R13
DIN 51097 (Barefoot), Classes A, B, and C
UL 410 – Slip Resistance of Floor Surface Materials
While other manufacturers may choose not to test their products according to the only recognized national standard for DCOF, at Glass Flooring Systems, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and performance by utilizing the ANSI A326.3 testing protocol for measuring the Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF).

Values are the three specimen results reported by Moore Engineering Services per ANSI A326.3 using a BOT-3000E tribometer; Pass indicates the texture met the ANSI A326.3 threshold in that condition. ANSI A326.3 sets 0.42 as the minimum wet DCOF for interior level surfaces expected to be walked on when wet. Textures marked dry only were tested in dry condition. The specifier determines suitability for project conditions.
